Darrell Chin
Project Advisor
Darrell graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering
in Chemical and Materials with First Class
Honours in 1996. He has been with East Harbour
Management Services since January 2000.
Some of the aspects that Darrell has been
working on include:
- Project Co-ordination
of a biofuel energy centre development
- Development of feasibility
studies and proposals including
research and economic analysis to
final report deliverables
- Further development
of financial analysis tools
- IT systems development

Darrell held a number of roles including:
- Development of company
wide financial project set up and
tracking tools. This included streamlining
methods of tracking prospective
project revenue against project
cost at the initial stages of analysing
project viability and the financial
tracking of active projects in terms
of profitability and out turn.
- Project Controller
for a 2 x 370 MW Combined Cycle
Power Station and a 110 MW Geothermal
Power Project. Both projects involved
setting up of budgets and revenue
predictions, invoicing, budget monitoring
and analysis of economic out-turn.
- Development of a
generic company wide Document Control
Database based on Microsoft Access
97 and thereafter co-ordinated the
document design review processes
for a large Geothermal Power Project.
- He also carried out detailed design
of pipework for a Geothermal Steamfield
and had site experience at a Cogeneration
Project and a Combined Cycle Plant.
